Steven was commissioned to create three illustrations specifically for the launch of the New Balance 2002R Trainers in three distinct color variations: blue, grey, and lilac.

These illustrations served a dual purpose: they were prominently displayed as large canvas prints within Philip Browne's display windows, showcasing the new colorways of the New Balance 2002R trainers. Additionally, Steven's artwork was reproduced as 20x20cm prints, which were included as a special bonus with the purchase of each corresponding colorway of the New Balance trainers. For example, customers who purchased the blue pair received the matching blue print. To further enhance their appeal, all prints were personally signed by the artist.
